An ancient, experimental blog - my intention was to share articles I've found, interesting links, videos, great quotes and once in a while I may have a thought or two to share (read: rant)
Instead I'm going to revive it and document my trip to the Philippines instead of annoying all my FB friends with even more frequent posts that usual.
Oh no, say it isn't so!!! My favorite podcast is moving to a subscription based model and will be charging $7/month. Its crazy, but the show is so damn funny I just might pay for it. Slashdot Podcasting Goes Pay-to-Play

I won't be paying for it. I think they're funny but I'm not going to cater to their greedy desires (sounds good, doesn't it?). I also don't agree with their recent Guiness Book of World Records induction. How can you truly count the number of podcast listeners when you consider the many different ways that people access podcasts (bittorrent for example).
