Get this: a lady calls Dell to order some PCs. She also needs to "link" them so instead of including a cable to connect them, they send a server. She calls back confused and they refuse to refund.
Check out the Consumerist for a better explanation.
An ancient, experimental blog - my intention was to share articles I've found, interesting links, videos, great quotes and once in a while I may have a thought or two to share (read: rant) Instead I'm going to revive it and document my trip to the Philippines instead of annoying all my FB friends with even more frequent posts that usual.

Anne-Marie
The other day someone asked why I didn't have any pictures of Anne-Marie on line. I was like: "hmm, I don't know". So I posted one today and, I swear, within 60 seconds the picture received a one word comment: "Beautiful".
Couldn't have said it better myself.
Its the best candid photo of Anne that I've taken and I liked it enough to put on my corkboard at work.
There's a whole lot that could be better about the photo, but I absolutely love the peaceful look on her face.

Bill Gates in a very difficult position
This is a pretty wild video of Bill Gates being "interviewed" by the DOJ in 1998. Amazing how autistic he seems.
UPDATE:
Speaking of akward, can you believe this guy is Microsoft's CEO? What a freak.

My FeedBurner feed thingy
I had a quick conversation with a friend (check out his blog) about why we blog anything. For me its usually a mechanism to remember where I've been and where I find interesting "stuff" on the web. There's another optimistic side of me that hopes one day I'll have enough traffic that I can actually generate some revenue from this site. Doubtful, but its good to have a dream.
ANYHOW, I just started reading about FeedBurner and have signed myself up. It'll be interesting to see what kind of statistics their site will generate for me.

Oktoberfest
I went to Munich, Germany in 2003 for Oktoberfest. I took a ton of photo's and videos and, now that I'm experimenting with YouTube I thought I'd upload some good clips of what its like to be at a party with 10,000+ people in a tent, all drinking & eating & singing & generally being merry.
There's a vid here and here.
Guinness Surger
My buddy Jeff forwarded this to me knowing I'm a Guinness drinker. Its the new Guinness Surger, though unfortunately, it might only be available in the UK.

UFCats
Oh, my stomach is still hurting from laughing so hard.
Many of you may know that I'm a big fan of the UFC, and I like a good cat fight, so you'll understand why I find this video so hilarious.

Crybaby NTP Finally Settles Blackberry Patent Dispute
Its old news by now, but NTP and Blackberry settled the dispute. I post this because its my favorite explanation of the deal to date.
NTP, weeping the tears of martyrs all the way to the bank, have gone on
record as stating they aren’t happy with the settlement but will stoically cry
themselves to sleep on beds made of money for the good of the nation.

"Smiling Bob" Penis Pill Scammers Nailed
Remember this guy from those annoying "penile enhancement" commercials? I could never understand how a company could get away with such blatant false advertizing.
Well, it turns out they can't:
